Under the banner of the Peace ACT, we help to rebuild our communities, so they are more resilient to the impact of serious violence & exploitation. ACT aims to help communities become safer places for our young people and children to grow up in by facilitating the growth and development of organisations that have the resilience and longevity required to support our communities and provide the infrastructures they need to resist and prevent serious violence.
At the Showcasing Staffordshire’s Voluntary Community & Social Enterprise Organisations Event, ACT CIC assisted West Midlands Probation Service to identify some of the key Organisations across Staffordshire that can support probation services in helping to reintegrate offenders and ex-offenders back into the community.
The event highlighted the different organisations providing support services in Staffordshire that can help service users, including:
– Resettlement
– Housing
– Support services
– Mentoring
– Education and training &
– Employment opportunities
