About us
We are a Community Interest Company (CIC) that puts children and young people at the centre of what we do; working with schools, parents, government agencies and other stakeholders to support young people helping them to overcome both the internal and external barriers that can prevent them from fulfilling their potential.
Established in 2012 by Youth Development Practitioner, Researcher and Social Entrepreneur, Teswal White, ACT specialises in working with marginalised and disadvantaged young people aged 10 to 19. Helping to facilitate the personal, social & emotional development of young people.
ACT enables young people to connect, become empowered and develop the resilience they need to find their place in the world, and positively contribute to their communities.
The ACT Way
How our
services work
ACT envisions a world where all young people have access to the Right support, Right tools and Right opportunities to make the most of their life experiences – where all young people can overcome the barriers they face, and are able to Activate their Creative Talents to fulfil their potential.
Our goal is to enable schools and other organisations to offer more extensive support and develop vulnerable and disadvantaged children including young people and their families experiencing social exclusion and marginalisation through our three levels of service:
Whether young people are at risk of exclusion, have become involved in anti-social behaviour, crime or are at risk of serious youth violence;
ACT can provide critical support to help young people at crisis point through our intervention and responsive wrap around services.
ACT can support you through our:
Behaviour Intervention Programmes
Critical Wrap-around Support Services
“ACT has been able to offer us real alternatives to working with some of our most vulnerable students, who would have otherwise faced permanent exclusion. Their intervention services has really helped us re-engage with some of our pupils ,who have far greater needs than what we alone are able to meet.”

Staff Team
Enablers of
Infinite Potential!
The ACT staff team affectionately referred to as the “Enablers of Infinite Potential” simply because when we have a positive impact on a young person’s life, there is infinite possibilities that exist, the infinite potential for that impact to snowball and touch others. We don’t just see ourselves as mere mentors, support workers or youth practitioner’s, but as ‘Enablers of Infinite Potential’.
“ACT is a team where everyone not only brings so much passion, inspiration, and love for what they do, but because the team is like a family, that support each other.”
