We are thrilled to announce the launch of our Social Impact Accelerator Programme, a key initiative in our mission to support 100,000 marginalised young people and their families by 2030. Our vision is ambitious yet clear: by empowering 100 businesses to establish Community Interest Companies (CICs), we aim to create a ripple effect that benefits countless more individuals.
ACT CIC’s Proven Impact
Over the past 12 years, ACT CIC has made a significant impact:
-
Reached over 3.1 million people through Peace Act initiatives.
-
Delivered anti-youth violence assemblies and workshops to over 30,000 young people.
-
Provided behaviour intervention support to hundreds, improving well-being and preventing school exclusion.
-
Trained over 100 young people as peer mentors.
-
Educated over 300 professionals and 80 practitioners globally.
-
Developed the UK’s leading qualification in tackling serious youth violence.
-
Received numerous awards, including the Community Awareness Award, the Impact Award, and the Change Ambassador Award.
The Social Impact Accelerator Programme
Generously funded by The National Lottery Community Fund, our Social Impact Accelerator Programme will support aspiring entrepreneurs over the next three years, helping them build their own CICs. Over the past two months, we’ve been selecting a few candidates to join us on our SIA programme, and we are excited about the future impact of these new CICs.
